Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon
Join us and run with a large group of doctors and their friends who will take part in the 2016 Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 9th October 2016 to raise funds for the Medical Women’s Federation.
The runners will get together in June in Hyde Park for a leisurely run and a lunch before the 16 week program begins.
You don’t have to be a fast runner nor do you have to have run a Half Marathon before.
Friends and family who want to run with you are very welcome on our team.
The stunning 21 Km route takes you on closed roads and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. There were 16,000 runners who ran in last year’s event.
Your place in the race will be free with a pledge to raise a minimum of 250 for MWF.
If you would like to join MWF’s Vice President and runner, Dr Henrietta Bowden-Jones and be part of the team then email her at:
Only 3 weeks to go to the big day, our runners are training hard and have fundraised well for the Charity, come and watch the race on 9th October in central London!
