A huge thank you to our Welsh Standing Committee for organising such a wonderful conference in Cardiff on the 11th May 2018. It was a truly fantastic day and thank you to all of you who joined us. We heard an array of thought-provoking and inspiring talks from our speakers, listened to some excellent abstract presentations, and participated in a number of engaging workshops.
Prof Dame Parveen Kumar handed over the MWF presidency to Dr Henrietta Bowden-Jones and we are very excited to build upon the momentum of the MWF Centenary celebration. Welcome also to our new President-Elect Professor Neena Modi, who joins our Officer’s team alongside Vice President Dr Olwen Williams, Treasurer Dr Heidi Mounsey, Honorary Secretary Dr Clare Gerada and Medical Woman Editor Dr Fizzah Ali.
